Originally from Romania, Ondina is both an artist and engineer with more than 7 years of experince working in the design and web design field in New York City. She is a recent graduate student from the NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program, where she studied Human Computer Interaction. Ondina's project "Fibonacci Galaxy" was invited to participate at the World Science Festival 2016. Ondina holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania/University of Dortmund Germany and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Art University of Targu-Mures, Romania. As a graduate student at NYU ITP, Ondina was awarded the May and Samuel Rudin scholarship and the NYU Provost Global Research Fellowship to do research at the Tel Aviv University in Computational Neuroscience in the summer of 2016. Ondina is a 2018 recipient of the Google Developer Challange scholarship. She is also a member of the SAG AFTRA guild. Her short film "Flags Cut in the Middle" is running in the official selection for Best Narrative Short at the South-East European Film Festival in Los Angeles in April 2018. Ondina speaks fluent English, Romanian, and German.
